I've been noticing that outward slope too, but couldn't tell if it was lens distortion in the photos. It really looks like it's sloping out.

Edit: The floorplans say the terraces are stepping in, but it really doesn't look like it in photos

There has to be an explanation here, if not, this will be one of the biggest blunders I can remember in TO construction.
 
The thing is if you look at the setbacks on the balcony portion it looks like it has the proper angle wondering if this could be something to do with attaching exterior cladding or that
 
Toronto architects, even the good ones, have this inexplicable obsession with asymmetry. So you get random cutouts like this breaking up what would otherwise be nice straightforward massing.
Surely KPF does not deserve to be lumped in with "Toronto Architects".
