Also, I couldn't just tell the barista what I wanted - I had to enter everything myself on the touch screen while he watched. Annoying.

That's one cafe i will never set foot in. I like telling the barista how i like my coffee (americano with a just a tiny splash of cream) 99% of the time, the barista's get it right. Not sure if i will be able to do that on a touch screen ordering system. Plus the inside looks awful. Not cozy at all.

Reminds me of the time i was working out of town and went to this trendy smash burger joint. They had the tablet ordering kiosks. The people in front of me were slow AF ordering off these things, it was like they were reading a novel. So i walked to the cash and said can i order here? The guy at the cash doing nothing, said cash or debit? I said debit. He said, "i can only take cash, you have to use the kiosks for debit" So i walked out!
