Dundas West/ Bloor Mobility Hub +interconnected hub network (Metrolinx)

I wonder if this renewed closure of the railpath between Bloor and Perth/Sterling is related to the construction of new apartment developments at the two lots at 72 Perth and at the corner of Perth and Bloor. I noticed that there is currently no fence between 72 Perth and the railpath (see photo), while the adjacent property seems to have a gate to the railpath.
I certainly hope that this does not mean that the railpath will be closed for the entire duration of construction at these two sites.

I posted this in the GO construction thread, but I'll post it here as well.

At Bloor GO, the Ernest Avenue entrance is being relocated as of April 20th. Metrolinx previously proposed to close this entrance completely, before it was forced to backtrack. The temporary entrance is intended to be open until the new Randolph entrance opens.

I’m glad to see it getting done, but they are going at it in a much pokier fashion than elsewhere (ie one tie handler placing ties individually)…. Which is all that’s really necessary until they finish the bigger utility and grading work south of Dundas.
And again, with lots going on north of St Clair, there’s nothing to tie into yet.
It’s good to see this happening… but summer will be here (and maybe over) before anything significant happens.

Why is the track not straight? Or are the unstraightened parts unfinished?

For the moment, the work is just to lay out the ties and rails and apply the rail fasteners. Then ballast is dumped, and then the track is levelled, straightened, and aligned.
The rails are a little kinky as they have not been “destressed” - ie cut to length at the appropriate temperature to ensure they can handle shrinkage/expansion with seasonal weather..
