Yes, the two projects make rather strange thread-mates! One done sensitively and with 'meticulous attention to detail" and the other NOT. Both though, took (or are taking) a LONG time.Slotting this here, since restoration of the Toronto Club building has been covered in this thread:

Council will not be happy until every building is grey and every retail unit is filled by a Shoppers or Rexall!Why are they so dead set on removing every last bit of warmth and colour from this city? Not to mention how they removed the gold glass from Roserock Place just around the corner.
