Headway is supposed to be 8 minutes with one LRV. The second car will be added in the future to meet ridership demands. Don't forget these are 48m LRV's not TTC 29m ones other the Line 6 LRV's that are the same as Hurontario ones. They are the same LRV that Ottawa has. Final headway will surface near opening day depending on how much Mississauga and Brampton is willing to pay for the service that still unknown today.I'm more and more convinced that a loop is a bad idea. But if a loop has to happen, these would be my preferred service patterns.

(A) Hurontario Express. Bypasses loop completely. Robert Speck functions as a transfer stop to B, C, D services.
(B) Port Credit - City Centre, running counterclockwise around the loop.
(C) Brampton - City Centre, also running counterclockwise around the loop. For both B and C CCTT and transfers to GO being the first stop around the loop.
(D) City Centre Boutique Loop, running clockwise. Maybe on smaller consists. If two-way way service around the city centre is necessary. Maybe it isn't, and the loop can be built as a single track.
Edit. For comparison, this is the only "official" illustration of a service pattern I have ever found, and it dates from the June 2014 environmental assessment report:

As for splitting the line, it is unknown which way they will run and still need a wye at Burnhamthorpe to allow straight service in both directions if it is decided to have some bypassing of the loop.
You can also have duel direction loop service only requiring Hurontario loop bypass service to use Robert Speck station to transfer to the loop only service.
One way or another, riders will spend the same amount of time to/from CCTT like today and more if the line is split in two.
