Toronto Eglinton Line 5: Laird Station | ?m | 1s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

When I came over yesterday to buy something in the plaza, I was unimpressed with the still locked up pathway right in front of the bus stop facing Eglinton, which leads to said plaza. I instead went around the fenced area, taking this image. I heavily cropped this image so as to hide my reflection.

A true Halloween miracle! The fences have been largely removed at the main entrance building, and (I think) pared back at the secondary entrance. The bike posts are also no longer covered in black garbage bags. Photos from this afternoon.

A couple of thoughts after three days of using this station. Some already shared in the main Eglinton Line 5 thread.

1. There are no red stickers marking where the future third car will be and suggesting riders move further down the platform..

2. There is no indication as to which exit you are going to from the platform (the mezzanine does not connect the two exits at Laird). Signage is identical, though easy to figure out after a couple of uses. This applies to Leaside as well, and likely other stations.

3. The hand rails on the longer stairs (with brief landings) are continuous. It would be better if they were interrupted so people could cross from one side to the other. Again, this applies to Leaside and likely other stations.
