Dear Parents, students of TCDSB Ward 2 Etob CentreAt the January 2025, Board meeting, as your elected Ward 2 Trustee, I advocated for, and successfully moved a Board of Trustees motion ensuring that the new TCDSB school at the former Buttonwood site in Ward 2 would have A/C installed. The funding to build this new school and the Scarlett Hts High School was a fundamental platform I ran on in the election of 2018 and did successfully achieve for our community. Both schools are slated to open in 2027.Parents and staff know only too well that schools become unbearably hot in May through September and it is a very difficult environment to learn and work in. That is why I moved the A/C motion as a positive first step forward and one that I had hoped would lead to A/C being mandatory in all TCDSB schools across Toronto either through renovations or in new construction.Tonight I am saddened to inform you that , per the Ministry Supervisor's order seen in the statement below, passed in secret and without public consultation or input, buried deep in the TCDSB website, the Ministry appointed Supervisor has rescinded a legally passed motion by the Board of Trustees and removed the A/C design and installation at our new school in order to cut costs. 600 future students and approximately 40+ staff members will ,every year for decades going forward, no longer have climate controlled, modern and safe environmental conditions.I am calling on Premier Ford and MPP Surma to speak to the needs of the students and families of Ward 2 Etobicoke Centre and immediately reverse this misguided directive​

While Jordan (Corruptario) sometimes gets some things right, he's extremely conspiratorial, and often forgets Hanlon's Razor "Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity."

And sometimes he goes to some *really* wacky ends to explain things.
 
To nobody's surprise NES going to try again for Ontario Liberal leadership... Also could explain the 'snub' from cabinet role (it was planned).

I think it's suffice to say, they don't like cameras being used on them...everyone else is fair game. /bleah

Yep Japanese owned companies like Honda and Toyota, Hitachi, Denso..etc pay well and people who work there are happy. It's more the Chinese companies that are typically hell holes to work for. Which isn't surprising. In communist China, they are still using child and slave labor in manufacturing.

Then you should have said 'Chinese' not broadbrush 'Asian'.
