I noticed in the photos on this page that they have started installing curtain wall on the north half of the tower portion, similar to the podium immediately below.
Here is a close-up of the curtain wall being installed on the northwest facade, immediately after lunch today:

Well, Frank said he was inspired by hockey and ice on the AGO visor, maybe this is his ode to the olde hockey mullet (or 'haircape', as I prefer to call it). ...hmm, I guess he's got him looking north.
