Looking north or south this part of the Yonge st corridor really needed a tower with warm colours/cladding. It really helps break the sea of greys and blues you see everywhere. We need more buildings like this.
We need more art deco and beaux arts buildings!!!! Even just a change of buildings materials will help our skyline.

Great to see the reconstituted heritage facade being revealed so soon. They did an amazing job when you consider the facade was rebuilt brick by brick. When you go back to Google street view circa 2021 this building didn't look like it was worth preserving but I am glad that they did. I'm interested to see how the adjoining block to the south that housed Aden camera turns out.
 
...I guess they determined the risk factor of it getting damaged to be low?
 
The other thing is if you look at the tower portion they have multiple staging decks that block anything falling from hitting the heritage facade it's weird because this is the only project that I've seen use such large staging decks but it does make sense
