Guelph was desperate for this. 2 new ice pads, a double gym with a walking track, an 8-lane 25 metre pool and a leisure pool, and a few multipurpose community rooms. It's part of South End Park and beside a catholic high school, both of which opened in the early 2000s. A community centre was always planned for this location but was unjustifiable for a long time, but became so desperately needed in the span of just a couple years.
