Best shot I could get, does look like the excavation has bottomed out. No crane yet, but I imagine it won't be much longer once work starts back up in the new year.

I haven't been by to take a look recently with the holidays and catching up on stuff, but they appear to still be digging, dumb trucks full of clay soil continue to pass by my place from this site. Perhaps I'll pop over and get a photo on a walk break today.

Looks like they're just removing the last little bit of soil in a pile at the bottom. This is usually the last step before basically pouring or finishing pouring the basement slab which the crane will sit on.
