A small but slightly annoying bug has popped up on the site over the past week.
No matter what I do, the last alert/notification in the bell menu refuses to mark as read. I kept rereading the same one, thinking maybe I was mis‑clicking, but it turns out it’s consistent: the final item in the unread list always stays marked as unread, even after I click through to view it.
