The eastbound on/off ramps were paved on Saturday but the QEW eastbound 4th lane and off ramp lanes are not completed been pave.

Major shift for eastbound traffic is about to happen as the new off/on lanes as well the 4th lane is all paved and strip. No stripping for the ramps yet.

No shifting of the eastbound lanes yet as they were paving at the far east end today. Saw no striping for the ramps.

The 4th lane is ready to be opened eastbound, as the concrete barriers have been moved to near the sound barrier wall and are blocking off the off-ramp to Dixie Rd. Pillows are currently blocking off access to the 4th lane.

The current eastbound off-ramp lane from Cawthra to the QEW will become the 4th lane when the 4th lane opens. The new on-ramps to the QEW from Dixie Rd are striped, with work still taking place for the eastbound off-ramp to Dixie Rd.

The 4th lane may open this weekend or the next 2 weekends once work is done for the off-ramp. Hard to say if the westbound on-ramp from Dixie Rd will open this year or until the new centre barrier is built.

Still a lot of work for the North Service Rd sound barrier wall at Ogden overpass.

More up on my site
All the concrete barriers have been removed and relocated next yo sound barrier walls as well for off/on ramps for Dixie with pillions replacing the barriers. Don't know if the new lanes have been open as they were not a week ago.

The on ramp from Cawthra will continue into the 4th lane when it opens and will improve the traffic flow at that point than the current slow down for merging.

Thanks. Its 4 lanes now and leaves a wide area to build the centre barrier wall now. Hard to say if the new on ramps are open but the off ramp was ready last week for it.
