I heard demo started on this high rise. Can anyone confirm or deny? Would be amazing to see a rental this size getting started in today's economic climate.
 
Curiously, the house immediately to the west of this now-cleared site was boarded up recently - could they be expanding this project's footprint?
 
I’m pretty sure that house has also now been demolished.
Indeed it has, and the fence extended to include that footprint. Such a shame they didn't acquire the last semi-detached house, as now the retail streetwall between this new development and the existing mixed use midrise building at the intersection at Gilmour will now be interrupted by this single, shabby dwelling. It'll look stupid.
