It may not be "part of the Crosstown LRT" but it "is one with the Crosstown LRT" (much like the Eglinton Connects streetscape) in it lethargic delivery. All three components were part of the early public sessions to sell the benefits of then "Transit City" and the LRT. The first post in this Caledonia Station forum thread had pictures, but it was discussed in 2010 that this is was to be a future station. Josh Matlow keeps on wanting to have a big investigation into what went wrong with Eglinton LRT, but the real mystery (now that Caldonia GO is starting construction) is where is Eglinton Connects and it is actually city jurisdiction. I guess Metrolinx delivering the Crosstown LRT in 17 years didn't give the city enough time to plan after those 60 public consultations over 2 years back in 2012-2013.Does anyone know why they waited until the crosstown is "finished" instead of building it in one go with the LRT station?
