Block 5 of Parkside Village is part Zonta Meadows Park Redevelopment that is seeing a major expansion and redevelopment as to what was there before construction. Block 11 will be part of the park after the tower is built for that site in the coming years.

I flew over this area this morning for the first time in months. I was quite surprised at how this has been completely torn up and the size of the area. Concrete has already been poured for the skate park.
 
You can see the skateboard park and the tennis courts taking shape. Just realized that in the map they show the Square One Drive extension opening in 2022. Clearly that didn't happen. I also realized that there are some of those electrical boxes blocking the future Square One Drive extension. Didn't take pics of those though.

I have asked about the roundabout and no date as to when it will happen. As for the green boxes, like you I thought they were in the way and told they are not

Shooting the area been on my do list this past week as well a few other things and looks like it will be next week now.

The new park will be a major improvemet to what was there before but not keen on the play area for the children as it seem to been drown graded compared to a few other new parks or what is plan for a few new ones.

I'm pretty partial to the wishing well one myself, I think it's the most versatile in terms of when/how it can be experienced by visitors, but for anyone that lives nearby - now's your chance to have your say!
