President Donald Trump's United States of America

The attached link is an interesting study in bli-lateral trade between Canada and the USA. And builds on what DSC Toronto has posted above.

The data is obtained through the OEC and is not a current as some trade export forums - go to the Trading Economics web site for the most current information. See here: https://tradingeconomics.com/canada/imports/united-states and here: https://tradingeconomics.com/canada/exports/united-states

However this site has a very clever portrayal of recent historical data (scroll down) and allows you to drill down very easily for details - For instance in 2022 we exported 199M in Malt to the USA - furthering their ambitions to brew truly the worst collection of beers found on this planet.

I have friends who have been contemplating a move to Italy -- they own property there. This is likely to convince them to do it.

Yeah. I'm contemplating renewing my passport (I have citizenship through my father and my sister lives there).
But it's not like it's any easier to live in Italy. It's pretty pricey too.

Yeah but at least it's far more beautiful and interesting!

And high-speed trains that actually take you somewhere exist!

And beaches
And food
And sports
And fashion
And cycling
And history
And art..

I'm a sixth-generation Canadian wishing I had an immigrant parent to fall back on ... anyone want to adopt me? What countries are accepting polite, kind Canadian immigrants?

Citizenship by marriage is another route you could take. Of course, if you choose to. 😂

My parents are immigrants, but I missed my chance to take out their original citizenship. I don't even think they are citizens now, though they maybe could become.

You'd think NATO would have something to say about acquiring land of other NATO members by coercion...

Your parents could have done that for you. As an immigrant myself, it's one of the first things I did when my kids arrived, securing their UK citizenship and passports. Of course my goal was to give them the chance to live and work in the EU without restrictions, which Brexit scuppered. But still, it's my parental gift to them.
