They look very similar to the benches at Berczy, which has a mix of ones with backs and ones without. But the backless ones aren't due to anti-human design in this case, they're designed so you can sit on either side and either face the square or face the sidewalk.

Checked out the new park today. Looking good (though trees are just twigs for now).

Has anyone heard any news on the retail for this? The supposed grocery store still hasn't happened. The windows are still papered over the way they've been since this building finished.

Once destined to be home to a City Market location, this building is now getting a No Frills.

Good to finally see this fill at least. These urban format No Frills seem like a good fit for downtown and more closely model what you see in Europe with smaller format grocers scattered throughout urban areas.
