One of the oddest or unwanted things I see on condo floorplans is how the door to the toilet opens with a direct view to the kitchen or dining room. If you’re having friends over for a meal the last thing you want to see (and envision) is your guest coming out of the loo.

Look at this Yorkville condo below. So, I’m cutting up and washing vegetables at the kitchen sink when you open the bathroom door beside the kitchen sink, with the flushing toilet turning your best work into an aerosol.

Toilets have a lid for a reason; plus there is a door that you can close. Pretty much a non-issue wrt to this floor plan.

I’m more concerned that both bedrooms are less than 9 feet wide (a queen size bed and a night table on one side would be tight), and the kitchen is the width of the range (room for just one person). The entrance door should be flipped so that it opens into the space.
