This is a 3-building 1.1 M ft^2 industrial site at 221 Church St S called Ajax Industrial on the Park. It was previously a golf course, of which part is slated to become a park.

This development pisses me off every time I drive by it.
Background: Ajax fought Pickering and Durham Live over an MZO to build warehouses across the street from this in a “wetland”.

Then, Ajax applied for a MZO to build this on their side of the street. They tore down hundreds of mature trees and this site has a creek that runs thru it.

The entire fight dates back to when Pickering won the casino site vs an expanded Ajax Downs…

If Ajax and the developer of these lands were smart they would’ve built facilities that would compliment Durham Live now that Durham Live isn’t being built as originally proposed. Just my rant for the day.
