Isn't the water issue usually to do with the reserves? Even if things go well I hear often there are no qualified people to run them as they go down south for better opportunities
I linked earlier that several years ago it cost $700,000 just to reprogram the crappy 1990's voices on the train when downsview was renamed. Can't wait to give Alstom 3 million to change 3 station names
I believe when downsview was renamed it cost $600,000 to reprogram that shitty robot announcement voice on the tr trains (shouldn't it be easier as they're text to speach?)

When I saw the photo I was thinking it must be a new challenge to add tracks next to an existing one, hope I can check it out and add some close up shots
I'm not sure what's going on here, they're adding a 2nd lane to the existing streetcar track for the detour is the existing track all being replaced, and they're tearing out the old one where the twinning is extended?
Took me a while I found the final layout but I'm still wondering are they...
I’m surprised! I’ll be honest the one thing I really like about King Street being open to bikes, is that pre-pandemic when I biked on Adelaide or Wellington there were a lot of hard-core cyclists in a narrow lane, and it honestly turned me off biking
