I think we should also keep in mind that the majority of Switzerland consists of uninhabitable mountains, so their 9 million people are shoehorned into a handful of valleys and the somewhat flatter terrain in the north.

So they were perfectly capable of restoring the original brick on that portion of the building, but not on the flagship heritage house on the corner. What idiot makes such a decision?

I like that they went with a cottagey look rather than the usual generic box. It's rare to see the LCBO make an effort with architecture!
