Dufferin Grove is spoiled with choice - both local No Frills stores are huge and have butcher/fish counters.

Not sure why that would be doubtful 🤷‍♀️ Also, I'm on the record as a strong supporter of densification throughout the city - in fact, I'm frequently frustrated that there hasn't been much more of it in my immediate neighborhood.

Kidding aside, when I was a kid KFC did actually have a full service sit down restaurant location on Dundas, west of Kipling that we frequented regularly. There was nothing else like it.

Agreed - went there twice many years ago (once with a buddy, once on a semi-wild first date) and it had a cool vibe. Their new location is ok, but it doesn't capture the feel of the original (that seems to be common for any place that moves).

Is their pizza really the cat's meow? I saw a huge lineup at their outpost on Dovercourt a few weeks ago in lousy weather (not shocking in this town 🤣 )

Needs to be a cozy cafe, though I would be unlikely to patronize it.
