214 is still in the same spot as it was when taken back out of service.

214 WAS in service for 2 days before being taken back out of service at Willowbrook, right now none are in service afaik.

Series III (decommisioned) Cab Car 217 is seemingly being prepared to be sent for refurbishment. (not my picture)

For me, I use a site called transsee to track locomotive numbers, cab car related info comes only from personal sightings.

213 is set to be delivered back to GO soon That would mean every single Series II cab car would be returned back to GO.

Considering it's apparently on the track for cars needed for repair, might be it for now. However considering it ran for 3 days, I'd say GO now seem serious about running these things.

Apparently this was an equipment move.

My theory is that there might have been a problem with the unit and it was bad ordered by the crew.

No, I saw them all still at Willowbrook on Sunday, all lined up in different locations. Though 206 recently having been turned to face west tells me we're not far from them entering service.

I believe the odd number consist markers are old leftovers from when GO had the old white and black stop markers, which is why they were never updated (and at certain stations they no longer appear).

It's also odd cause the rebuilt cab cars from what I've seen don't have the newer tall window doors.
