thanks - I actually think Toronto is one of the only major cities that sells of their public streets for private construction. A closure here would be a debacle.

Thanks @Northern Light - from your expertise would you think the city would close 50% of the northbound lanes for 3+ years?

This project looks like it's underway - fencing up and they're taking down the exiting commercial buildings. I am curious, how do we find out if the city sold the developer the northbound curb lane for the next 3 years leaving northbound Mt Pleasant to be an absolute disaster?
