Honestly, this post came out of my frustration for the shabby public realm (and many people's posts in that thread).
This city can and should do better
Ambulances (ground or air) and fire engines don't bother me. I used to live under the flight path for St Mike's (on Jarvis s of Dundas). Yes, they were frequent, but I'm ok with that. Can we agree that modded motorcycles and cars are the true evil?
Is that virtue signalling because Black History month has nothing to do with train operation? Personally, I don't mind this, but agree that some messages get diluted (e.g. "see something, say something" on the TTC(
I have no problem with French announcements. However, there is zero reason to repeat the safety announcements after each stop. Last time I was in Chicago (2018), they had a series of rotating messages, each of which would play every few stations.

What I find surprising is that GO is subject to Federal regulations for safety, but apparently not accident investigation. TSB investigations are independent, and facts based. They don't seek to blame. Read their aviation investigation reports
How to do a clandestine post removal:
Day 1: show up with orange construction notice (noting lane closure) sign and mass of unkempt sign posts.
Day 2: set up signs and posts. Show up with barriers/cones. Wait 3 days.
Day 5: bring 5 people (wearing hi-viz vests) to remove post. 1-2 are working...
Perhaps note that they are in YouTube music? (I will not use Spotify)
Some great music here! I'm seeing Sloan, Lowest of the Low, Stars/Metric/Broken Social Scene later this year, and saw Rural Alberta Advantage last year.
Mods: Perhaps this thread should be renamed to something General Rogers Centre (Skydome), or the discussion about potential uses of the dome that have nothing to do with the renovation could be moved
