    Chipping away at the roof and top floor of 88 Isabella St. Almost all balcony railings are now gone. A crane holds a screen up to prevent debris from bouncing onto the heads of the pedestrians below.

    The parking ramp is now gone and we can see two of the underground levels below the front entrance.

    All windows are gone now and the pigeons are happy about it.

    There are now no lights on in any of the units. Just some reflections from street lights. Some people appear to have left window coverings behind.

    Apparently the Italian resto will not be opening there after all. Currently the talk is that a bartender at Boutique Bar, who also use to work at Flash, is opening a new bar there(former Blyss/Church on Church location)

    They’ve been in the news recently regarding financial troubles. The people at Eyes on Church have said they will be moving across the street to where David’s Tea is.

    The new place called "The Drink" is currently a cafe type place with coffee, sandwiches, cakes etc... and is open until 7pm most nights. Once they get their liquor licence it will be open until 2 am and become more of a bar. The coffee and cakes will likely become secondary fare or disappear...

    You know we have to assume that somewhat intelligent people are in charge of this company. If that's the case then using the word renovations in the sign on the door would be more appropriate. But they chose to say "Closed for Repairs" which makes me think a pipe burst maybe or a fridge broke...

    Looks like the owner of O'Grady's may be opening a new bar called The Drink upstairs where the Healthy Greek used to be located. I think it was most recently the home of Urge. Many bars have been located here in the past but for a long time it was a great burrito place called Chino Locos.
