This highway is overkill. A 2-lane regional road would have been sufficient for this area. It didn't need to be a 400 series highway.

This highway is too far from the 401 to be a 401 alternative. I know the pro highway guys don't like reading this. But this highway only saves you minutes compared to cutting through other adjacent roads. Let's not act like it will make any earth shattering changes.
