They could always elevate the streetcar over Old Weston, the rail corridor and Keele/Weston. Add no trackage to the streetcar route. Reduce pedestrian conflicts. Not crazy expensive. It could be our little Broadway Junction.

You know, as much as York Region was undeserving of a subway extension, they paid their part. And after going up there to see the going ons it seems like they also have political will to change the built form around these new transit investments which should bode well for future ridership...

The objective should be getting more people on Transit. If that means 25,000 boardings at Bloor-Lansdowne slowing down the trip of 2,500 boardings at Waterfront Allandale, so be it. Although IIRC electrification leaves travel times unchanged for the most part with added stations.
