From today, over two months since last update - they're still going at it, but they've added some greenery which makes the whole space look more inviting
Very minor update here, probably been here for a few months or so now, but they added a sign for commercial tenants at the building
I think that helps, for what it's worth
I've probably only taken the 109 once since April so I guess I wouldn't really know about the increased frequency, but that is good to know.
And yeah honestly, if I am going to the mall to shop, its definitely better to have the car. It just makes more sense. Can pack up bags easily in the car...
Yeah, the traffic lights do add to the time. Just leaving the station at Erin Mills sometimes you're sitting at a light for a little while to get on the highway. Really shows how the overall form of the transitway is incomplete to the western end, when between Winston Churchill and Erin Mills...
I don't use this transitway very often but I have a bit of a gripe with it.
I live on the west end. In between the Winston Churchill and Erin Mills station. Neither of which is exactly a short walk; its actually over a km to Winston Churchill, and google will tell me its even longer to Erin...
NIMBYs gonna NIMBY. "Loss of village character" is an absurd complaint when these buildings in place are an eyesore in the community.
I think my only beefs with this is the lack of retail on site. I believe I read that somewhere, and the renders do look like walk up units on the ground floor...
Sorry to bump this, but I just saw an ad for Aquanova here in Lakeview Village, and while perusing that thread, someone mentioned that the waterway common area of this project has been nixed.
Is this true? That's a huge shame if so
