Does anybody know what is going on with that east wall? Is this an issue with materials used or is it bad workmanship? Who would likely be responsible for this (i.e. builder/architect/developer/structural engineer)?
I purchased via assignment and it was a long and arduous process. I found the unit on craigslist and got my realtor to contact the listing realtor. I had recently sold my condo so I had the cash to pay back the seller's deposit plus their profit. A few problems though - the floorplan had...
The floor plans are up on the website. There are some great layouts but wow most of those units have tiny tiny windows. Anybody buying an alley facing unit is going to have to keep the lights on all the time. very depressing especially considering the prices.
my measurements are pretty much the same and I've gotten two ballparks so far. The cheapest was about $3,400 from alleen's  however this is for the solar shades in the LR and solar shades plus blackout shades in the bedroom. gulp. i knew the solars were expensive but I didn't think...
wow. they were starting at $319K last summer for a high floor. wow.
the laviani is nice and would have a decent view. goetz on the 3rd floor, cool layout but ultra crap view.
Did you look at the Perriand? That's the model suite and the one I purchased. I think it will be an awesome building to live in and the area is bound to become even more popular in the next 5 years.
I looked at a few of these units late spring (when they were listing for $216,000!!!). they are tiny but i think a very good use of space, and the finishes are superb. you will need a locker if you have any more than a large suitcase of clothes. the kitchen is too small for someone who likes...
^^ and the overwhelming noise for the next 2-3 years ugh!
I was looking at the teeny tiny 410 sq ft units back in June. They were listing at $216K. Just saw a listing for the same size for $249K!
here is the "covering". i was really interested in purchasing here for a while until i finally got in and saw a few of the units. the doors, the finishes, the workmanship... ugh. i hope the junk i was shown was the exception rather than the rule.
