I don't understand why they don't want to. I don't know how much money they are saving by cheaping out but I would think that it is less than 0.2% of the total cost of this one building but it makes a big difference so it doesn't make sense to me. I could be totally off in that estimate though
Imagine if TD gets to put their logo on that "cube" at the top. It would be a twin to the TD cube on TD Canada Trust Tower and the 3rd TD logo in the area
It did become what it was first meant to be. The original concept was the 308 metre-tall building and the 328 metre concept was a later proposal that was just approved in 2023. We got the original design from I believe 2016.
I hope that if office and housing demand increases in a few years they would consider building two nice buildings instead of one nice building and 3 ugly cheap condos
So Line 6 will open before Line 5 even though Line 6 started construction in 2019, 8 years later than Line 5 and 1 year before it was supposed to open lol
