To add to the above, the premier said they would also compensate the city for lost revenues up to about $5 million per year...
... and when probed said the province has no interest in Exhibition Place.
Not sure what happened here... I overheard the original owner had sold to developper but that was the last of it.. Was it not profitable at the larger unit size?
This one suprised me, presumably referring to the Kingston and maybe Simcoe corridors:
It is possibly some overflow reaction to what's happening in Toronto with light rail and streetcars. Durham region isn't usually ahead of the curve... I hope it is effective and drives us toward consistent...
An interview that feels like it’s showcasing a different version of Poilievre… It’s encouraging to hear talk of cooperation and moving beyond the usual partisan jabs about the Liberals. Time will tell how much of this translates into real action in the months ahead...
I didn't see this posted anywhere, but maybe some traffic signal experts here on UT can chime in. CTV news has a post up on a Canadian company that was left out of TSP (Finch LRT) bidding...
Confirmed. Although removed from their site, I found an archive of a page confirming the 10-15 figure, as others have also suggested above.
The main point of the post was to continue highlighting a problem with this organization: missing deadlines, inability to acknowledge events, and...
The original maximum they quoted was 10-15 m/day, as far as I know. That line about “this year at this pace” feels like careful wording and I don’t think Michael Lindsay was trying to mislead, but I’m not convinced their numbers account properly for maintenance time.

Don't think they are burying the 230 kV lines from Pickering NGS. There are local lines in the area (pictured below). The notice also states they will bring the lines to the rail corridor. Again, this has nothing to do with the high-voltage feeder lines from...
I ride near this and on it sometimes. It's a pretty quiet residential street for most of its length. With the Meadowway right there, it seems a bit odd to have cycle tracks so close and parallel on an already reasonably quiet street with speed limits, given all the schools.
Maybe it’s because highlighting that area would draw attention to the work that appears to have been done in front of the Science Centre. I doubt that’s something they’re eager to spotlight, given whatever ends up happening with the property.
Perpetuated by the fact it's hard to find good quality workmanship; which itself is perpetuated by a shortage of workers and a drive for quantity over quality...
I can't tell you the number of mistakes I catch when having work done on the property. Incredibly frustrating. One has to do most of...
They've had since last summer. Has very specific drop off/pickup points and probably don't want the potentially disorderly crowds after events...essentially, Markville mall, Milliken GO, and Scarborough town centre.
