I think this was just a preliminary concept, from what I've heard City's transportation dept. prefer the following configuration instead as it's a more efficient use of land (leaves a development parcel at Shipp/Rathburn intersection) & less chaotic than a 5 connection roundabout.

City really ought to push for more retail in developments like these, especially after they put out that report recently about how there's a lack of retail and they're expecting to lose more as commerical lots/strip malls intensify and re-develop.

Seconding this, another obvious choice for pedestrianization to me is the section of Square One Drive in front of the bus terminal.

I wonder if they're going to build that other N/S road just east of The Exchange as part of this development or as part of the other one next door that Oxford are planning.

I would think it's for a bus transit hub, I think a BRT on Erin Mills with a terminal in that area is more likely than Line 5 going this far into Mississauga.

Aspiring to European standards is not realistic drum ... it ignores so much context about land use designations, density, and the built environment that enables so much of their transit success, nevermind the fact that public services in general across the pond are at a much higher quality...

Interesting that they mention the redevelopment of the Mississauga Valley CC will open up development parcels, would be nice to see some non-tower in the park developments in that area.

Looks like this isn't getting any ground floor retail, it's a shame, I think the area could use it.

I wish Mississauga had even a tenth of the amenities and cultural impact Atlanta does lol
