I must say, for all the financial woes and delays this building has faced, its final form lives up to the hype. Feels like this will be a classic building that is highly recognizable. Nice to have a statement tower in Toronto when so much of what goes up is mediocre.
Only 15? Is this even a supertall yet?
It's getting close no doubt.
I'd imagine it's closer to 25 just by eyeballing but what do I know.
Side note, I do like how this will create another peak in the skyline even if the tower itself isn't anything to write home about.
Yea. I’ve been on hiatus for a while, but I was just catching up on this thread thinking the same thing.

I feel like this sort of balcony pattern is a little overdone these days but the colours and material selections here make it pop and stand out still. This is quite a solid project.
One can only hope that one way or another this uninspired mess never sees the light of day.
Sure the current railways are wasted space and annoying to get around, but it also creates an extremely rare opportunity to completely transform downtown Toronto and there’s only gonna be one shot to...
It’s been a while since I’ve posted regularly around here, but I’ve got a job in the industry now, so I no longer have to drive all the way into Toronto on free time to get photos!
Snapped a couple of CIBC square as I was on the way to other projects.
Alright so here’s my problem with precast panels and in particular precast brick. This development is really solid overall, so not by any means trying to disparage it, but the lines/spaces between the precast brick panels really hinder the overall cohesiveness of the build and instead of...
