Wouldn't it be spectacular if the city built a plaza with steps/seating built into the hill where the photo above (Source: Flonicky) was taken from off of Broadview Avenue? Great place to watch sunsets, the skyline, and the fields below.. Something like this:

Some of the best pics I've seen of this project, and I've seen over a 1000!! Well done ProjectEnd.

    Toronto Q Tower | 197.4m | 59s | Lifetime | Wallman

It appears in the renders that Q Tower will be set back a bit more from Harbour to allow for separate bike lane and sidewalk, as opposed to the joint bike/walk path as is the case currently. Also, the render shows how the building will curve to mimic Harbour Street's bend. Current (Source...

    Toronto Q Tower | 197.4m | 59s | Lifetime | Wallman

I am really looking forward to this development. Its black cladding will contrast nicely with the sea of blue (and aqua green) towers in that area of downtown. Plus, having a nice building at such a prominent location next to the Gardiner and facing the Simcoe off ramp will add a lot of...

    Toronto 400 King West | 164.58m | 49s | Plaza | BDP Quadrangle

The paint job on the lower east side looks good in that pic immediately above.

I am not clear what the final look will be. Is that white paint/cladding facing Wellington Street the finished product because I like it much more than the dark gray on the rest of the building.

It appears they have a bunch of paint options to choose from to cover the lower concrete section to the right of the options shown in the red box below. I hope they choose one of the lower options, which are in the red/orange colour palette. Regardless, I am glad they are painting that...

    Toronto 50 Scollard | 147.62m | 41s | Lanterra | Foster + Partners

I'm likely very late in clueing in on this, but I wonder if 40 Scollard in the foreground of the pic below (Source: Google Street View), was the inspiration for the design of 50 Scollard? The setbacks are quite similar at 40 Scollard to the West side of this new development.

    Toronto Forma | 308m | 84s | Great Gulf | Gehry Partners

They haven't added any more of the delicious cladding since those two sections above were added well over a week ago. I wonder if they rushed to put those up as they wanted to show it off during TIFF? Likely not, but it seems a bit odd that they haven't added any more since.

Likely yes. While the rendering is a bit blurry, I seem to see the curved balcony glass up those corner units... Source: UrbanToronto DB

I feel like it already has started to become more cylindrical as it goes up as highlighted below. Source: Rascacielo

It appears they are finally starting to add new cladding panels. (See red boxes below) Very exciting. Really adds a nice design element to the building. Source: Canadaniel
