so what exactly is going on here ?
They are currently building the bridgedeck? is that the correct word? Then I'm guessing the abutments are already made and so the bridge will rest on those. Then they remove the temporary structure?
well I recently got a new job in the Jane & Finch area & see the lrt being used daily. Looks good to me while driving neway, the stops are much better than the crosstown surface section. Hopefully the line gets better over time with TSP
This is the city's first new transit line and not an extension in like forever no? why don't yall give them some grace? We are asking for trams to interact with traffic (at intersections) in Toronto, this is different from Europe and their policies and their view on transit You guys say in...
well TransitThinker posted his video and at the end he reminded everyone who watches that a
BRT wouldn't work - (too much busses needed)
light Metro - not enough riders
Subway - too much money definitely not enough enough riders
TSP needs to be implemented, and left turn cars need to go 2nd
I was anticipating the elevated section would be made how the Davenport elevated section was made, with the machine attached to the form piers and and the pre-cast segment slid into place, seemed like that process was much quicker
really this line should be extended in both directions in the same shot. It really doesn't make sense to extend the line 7 stops east so it can meet line 2, and not connect it to the other section of line 1 two or three stops away at downsview or Sheppard West
