anyone care to speculate as to whether bike share toronto will extend beyond the 416 at some point? it's quite common in other metros sliced up into smaller municipalities for the bike share system to cross boundaries, but I'm not sure how it would work here given the TPAs role with bike share...

I can see this thing from afar from my apartment and the green lighting is so so so so so sos so so os so so so so so so bad. total eyesore. it was nice when it was white lighting going from left to right or whatever. the greeen is just so bad ruins the skyline. SAD!

and wherever single family zoning exists, the only economically viable project on these lots is to build a larger more expensive house in place of a smaller one. there often isn't the option to increase density at least until recently. believe me given the option to do so you'd see a lot more...

i really think toronto needs its own version of select bus service in nyc. including bus lanes signal priority nicer stops the whole 9 yards. virtually every major arterial with a sufficiently wide row and a route in the 10 min network needs to be considered for this. it would cost peanuts...

My view on this is the same as on Finch West. I don't mind investing in enhancements to the local/surface network (not every line needs to be rapid transit), I mind spending billions to do such enhancements in the form of rail (when a bus can serve the same purpose), especially if it precludes...

love this building but it is quite dissapointing how difficult it can be to make out the diamond pattern at certain angles let along at night. they may as well not be there past dark. hopefully this can be fixed in the next few years.

central library is always packed around exam season.

the area between confederation and duke of york isnt so bad. I think that due chiefly to the grid street pattern and relatively narrow streets. I can see that part accquiring an increasingly urban feel. but everything east of the mall is a mess for the time being.

i think sheppard should go west even if it isnt dense. lots of logistical benefits to linking up the line to wilson yard, and if the line interlines with line 1 from sheppard west to finch west u have a transfer to the barrie line at downsview park and a transfer to line 6 so the crosstown...
