A suspended heart would be a bit too on-the-nose I think, like the pond itself is already a heart, we get it. Could be a safety hazard too with the winds we get.
What will bring this from OK to Pretty Nice Actually is if they will install those angled panels on the side of the balconies like in the renders. Nice colours so far though, and the pattern that references the old roofline.
It’s the less special infill buildings that contribute the most to the street experience overall. Good on them for recognizing their value without an official designation. If only MORE would be saved like this to preserve what makes Toronto, Toronto.
