Post your pictures of Toronto here!

I recently saw the smallest car I've ever seen. It was driving down the sidewalk near Jane/401. The pic is low quality so I will only post a link. Makes a smart car look like a hummer. Even had functioning brake lights. http://i.imgur.com/YOfWQ9p.jpg

    Black Creek

Does anyone here work for spacing.ca? They just posted an article about exploring Black Creek, including some key words/phrases used in this thread. http://spacing.ca/toronto/2015/08/27/exploring-black-creek-torontos-mini-la-river/

    Lost Road: Indian Line Road

It looks like Indian Line Road is becoming less abandoned and isolated. The Humber River recreational trail that formerly ended in a loop just north of Finch Ave now extends all the way past the 427 to join Indian Line near the dam. The extension is fully paved. Another new paved access trail...

    Leslie Street Spit

If it's not a park then why the name Tommy Thompson Park? It's public, it's busy, ten km is a lot. Not unreasonable to want a bench or two.

    Leslie Street Spit

    1) Is the Quonset hut still there? I saw a comment elsewhere that it had been torn down recently. I wanted to see it but I don't want to spend hours looking for it if it's not there. 2) Is there a story about the stick/concrete block path in the 5th picture? 3) When I biked to the tip of the...

    Black Creek

Isn't that due to flooding potential? Sections of the creek without the canal can flood up to 5 times the normal width! And back when the Finch Ave bridge was washed out it was because of Black Creek.

    Black Creek

The following is my trek along Black Creek in Toronto roughly from the 401 to south of Eglinton. This continues to be one of my favourite creeks due to the concrete canal-type structure that runs along some sections. If I'm not mistaken this is to curb flooding. It also makes walking alongside...

What is this bridge structure over the Rouge River?

I went for a walk in Rouge Park and saw this structure over the Rouge River. I wanted to ask if anyone knows what it is. Was this something larger that had been partially dismantled? Or did this serve a purpose exactly the way it looks? Google maps link: https://goo.gl/maps/7g4Sq I...

Old, broken-into mechanical/electrical shed, Weston/401; anyone know about it?

I've been hiking and biking along the Humber River for quite a while and I've always been curious about a small, concrete mechanical/electrical shack on one of the side trails near Weston/401. I remember the door being broken off for at least the last 5 years. A few years ago I called 311 to...

    Lost Road: Indian Line Road

I visited in August 2014 and took a bunch of pics. This is my favourite. Underneath a small bridge. Hard to find. This is the full album. http://imgur.com/a/wP4Cj [82 images] Note: I am not a photographer. The pics aren't anything special. Not all pics were taken on the same day.

    Lost Neighbourhood: Blondin Avenue

Visited in November 2014. No sign of a road whatsoever. It was either overgrown or torn apart. Area is fenced in and mostly flat grass/dirt with some trees. There is a gate on the corner of Weston and Walsh where one can easily enter. Pretty uninteresting overall. A word of caution though: I saw...

    Lost Road: Indian Line Road

I took a bide ride there today. Found this random stage-type thing in a wooded area lol. http://imgur.com/N1bCa
