great angle here, love that first photo! Once again, its amazing how all the construction in this area is going to change the western face of the city!

You can tell from that pic how far south the Ritz tower will be set-back... there should be some good views from the west of RBC. The Ritz tower footprint seems very small (compare it to Simcoe Place)... at nearly 700 feet, Ritz is going to be tall, elegant and tres thin.

Thin at the base, but the floorplate will increase going vertically, which will look awesome!

decided to try and draw the rbc construction status and compare it to the finished one, let me know what you think =]

That picture from above is excellent. You can see the Boutique Condos construction, Shangri-la, RBC, Ritz, and the park at Metro Hall which needs a serious makeover. When are they doing the Walk-of-Fame makeover?

ya, that shot from the CN Tower is great! Luckily someone can afford the outrageous prices to get up there. The problem with that park at Metro Hall is its mostly used as a shortcut as witnessed by the crossing paths worn in the grass. They should redesign it... taking pedestrian patterns into consideration.

Canada's Walk of Fame plans include a redevelopment of that space, which will pave at least one of the foot-worn paths across that oval of lawn...

...if it ever gets built. A bit short on funding are we?

/\ Too many.

1. The bottom right-hand corner, beside Simcoe Place.
2. Just north of RTH there are two slivers
3. The site directly north of Boutique
4. The north-west of Boutique
5. Directly behind New City Hall to the north
6. The site in between the two Much Music buildings (probably won't get built on for awhile but it's still there!

In short, a disappointing answer to an intriguing question.
