I think 6-7 stories along that stretch of Bloor makes sense on the north side, possibly less on the south due to shading. I agree about the subway, but the street here is not as wide as along St. Clair, College, Danforth, etc.

Update:
In late July, an application was filed on behalf of developer Main and Main seeking rezoning for a 1,164 m² site at 990 Bloor Street West, on the northwest corner of Toronto's Bloor and Dovercourt intersection. The submission follows on the heels of a September 2016 pre-application public consultation and a March 2017 working group session where input was accepted from neighbourhood residents, planning staff, and Ward 18 Councillor Ana Bailão.

when you step on the land of Westmoreland Park you may feel how the subway track and land vibrate (train slowing down and braking):eek: right at this point. Will it be a big issue?

I felt the subway in the subbasement of a building close to Yonge Station but, it didn't reverberate up the building. You barely noticed it in the basement one storey up.
