The Ship Channel in Toronto's Port Lands is 2.8 kilometres long and 700 metres wide at the Turning Basin near its east end, and on this snowy night from the very east end at Leslie Lookout Park, you can't even see much more than about a quarter of the way down its length, hiding the Cherry Street Bascule Bridge towards the west end of it. This image by UrbanToronto Forum contributor flonicky captures the same Great Lakes freighter delivering salt as in yesterday's Daily Photo.
