On a sunny morning last month, Mattamy Homes celebrated the ground breaking of Phase 3 at Mile & Creek Condos along with special guests representing the Town of Milton. The event marks the start of construction on the final phase of this development in the rapidly growing Halton Region in the western Greater Toronto Area. Phase 3, which is is targeted for completion in June, 2026, offers modern living spaces with access to natural landscapes, making it a prime choice for families and professionals alike.

While the two 8-storey buildings of the first phase are now topped off, three tower cranes were perched over the construction site of the second phase. One of the cranes has since come down.

Guests at the event included the Regional Councillor for Ward 3 in Milton, Sammy Ijaz, who addressed the gathering. He noted the Province of Ontario’s target of building 1.5 million homes by 2031. “We are exceeding our targets here in Milton,” he shared, “and that is due to the greater partnership we have with the development community like Mattamy Homes.”

The development’s impact on the local community offers a blend of urban and natural elements. The community’s series of mid-rises are designed by KNYMH Inc. to reflect a contemporary aesthetic, employing a palette of neutral colours accentuated with metal and glass features that harmonize with the surrounding green spaces.

Phase 3 will introduce 160 suites, available in configurations from smaller one-bedroom units to expansive three-bedroom-plus-den layouts. These homes are crafted to maximize light and offer views of the protected natural areas that directly border the development. Inside, residents will find modern amenities and luxurious finishes including quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, and high ceilings.

The interiors fuse natural elements and modern design, featuring wood, metal, glass, and stone finishes that are both aesthetic and functional. The design team has prioritized cohesion with the surrounding natural realm, incorporating organic shapes and colours into the wall coverings, artwork, and furnishings.

Central to the masterplanned community is the Clubhouse Amenity Pavilion, a three-floor hub designed for recreation and socializing. Residents can enjoy a state-of-the-art fitness centre, a social lounge, and co-working spaces. The rooftop terrace offers barbecues, a dining area, and a fireside lounge.

Located in the Cobban neighbourhood at 740 Whitlock Avenue, in east-end Milton, Mile & Creek's proximity to main street offerings, cultural eateries, and the forthcoming Milton Education Village — a comprehensive hub for education, business, and healthcare — further boosts the community’s appeal.

In addition, Mile & Creek’s location near major transportation hubs like the Milton GO station and Highways 401 and 407 allow for easy access to Toronto and Mississauga, making Mile & Creek an attractive option for commuters. The development’s close ties to the natural surroundings, particularly the protected green spaces to the south and west, offer residents recreational opportunities right at their doorstep. Mile & Creek is part of Milton’s evolution as one of Canada’s fastest-growing municipalities and an emerging tech hub.
