A week ago today, a mixed bag of weather pushed across Toronto, bringing sun, clouds, rain, and rainbows… well one rainbow, but a double one, occurring while the sun was setting in the West with nicely dramatic lighting effects… and seen from many vantage points across the city. Here are four of the shots of it to have made it into various UrbanToronto threads!

Our first image is by UrbanToronto Forum contributor evandyk, catching a southwards view over top of the Time and Space condo development in Toronto's Old Town area, enhanced by a close-up of twin cranes, making this a very UrbanToronto photo indeed!

Further west in the city, looking south again, this image by UrbanToronto Forum contributor ProjectEnd captures the double rainbow effect more clearly, with the outer, fainter ring reversing the order of the refracted colours.

This image by UrbanToronto Forum contributor tripwire looks southeast over Toronto Harbour and across to the islands, capturing the entire rainbow, that Eastern Gap promising as a portal to somewhere heavenly, no doubt.

Finally, to bring us back down to earth, this image by UrbanToronto Forum contributor DSC looks south through the homes of Toronto's St Lawrence neighbourhood
