Nighttime lighting hides small imperfections while playing up bolder moves, even if that play happens in softer ways. At this condo construction site at Bloor and Parliament in Toronto's St James Town area, UrbanToronto Forum contributor DavidCapizzano's image captures the bold diagonals of white and black paving tiles, custom-cut pieces still to be custom cut, butting up against the arcing edge of another typical, banal, poured concrete sidewalk. The soft night light does wonders for focusing on the broad strokes at what will become a pedestrian piazza outside of Tridel's Via Bloor.
