Construction of Collecdev's Nordic Condos has been continuing to progress just east of Wilson subway station in the Toronto borough of North York. The gh3-designed condos are situated on the block of Wilson Avenue between Faywood Boulevard and King High Avenue, and are approaching grade.

Our last update in August shared that at the west end of the pit, excavation had been completed and a third tower crane had been installed, allowing forming of the underground levels to advance at that end of the site. Now, the parking levels have been completed at the east end and Nordic is working towards beginning to make its presence known above grade.

Throughout the construction of the project the east end of the site has always been the furthest ahead, with the centre and western parts following closely behind. Currently, copious amounts or rebar can been seen at the east end of the site, waiting for a concrete pour for the first section of slab at-grade. Seen in the middle ground of the image above towards the centre of the site, forms are in the process of being put together, while at the west end of the site in the background, construction is a few more steps behind–not having any grade level forms built as of yet.

Upon completion, Nordic's buildings will each rise 12 storeys, topping off at 41 metres high over Wilson Avenue. The complex will bring 429 condominium units to the area, while also replacing the 160 rental units from demolished buildings with rental replacement suites.
