Walked into a Condo PDI recently. Beautiful unit and well done in some places. However, at least 40 deficiencies noted, including the following biggest ones.

All 5 appliances have multiple scratches and or small dents.

Interior metal window frames have deep scratches or dents on the grey finishing exposing the black underneath. It almost looks as these frames were used or were sitting exposed on a construction site and got banged up pretty bad before install. Or after. Who knows.

Corner of door damaged and now it’s rounded out completely with the underlying wood exposed.

Bathroom counter top has black markings all over the top which are not part of the countertop pattern.

These are the ones I’m most worried about. The others ones include shotty paint masking and other minor deficiencies - a lot of them though.

Any thoughts on what I should reasonably expect in terms of fixing? I expect the unit to be brand new. How common are these issues.

How easy is it, for example, to replace the metal window frames the hold the windows together, etc...

Do not accept this. I’m having my PDI soon and if I walked in and saw this I would throw a fit. Do not sign any documents approving the PDI and make sure your solicitor is aware. You waited a long time for your condo, everything should be in good condition. Minor scratches are understandable but this is ridiculous.
