I know Canadians living abroad are so far only allowed to do so if they've been out of Canada for less than 5 years and they have their vote count towards the riding they last lived in.

But I would be curious as to if there are stats as to the size of this demographic, what percentage of out-of-country Canadians who are eligible to vote actually do so (ie. voter turnout), and who these "expats" voted for, both in the last election and/or historically if there are records. I was wondering if this data even existed or if there aren't data collected this way since the out-of-country voters' votes are divvied among their respective home ridings within Canada anyway.
