TTC: Streetcar Network

You would have to think that or Leslie is gong to be jammed to the gills with 200 Flexities. And with that, Roncesvalles CLRV days are done. The end.

Yep, with it busy being a busy streetcar intercestion for 501 and 504 routes, will be interesting for a few weeks to see it getting rebuilt, and not seeing any streetcar traffic. As well, the ROW being extended east to Roncesvalles will be interesting as well.

Really want to know what is the point of streetcar service on Dufferin ( 504B ). Everytime I pass by there, the Flexities on 504B are empty as soon as they turn onto Dufferin St. On the other hand though, the tracks aren't non-revenue anymore, which is good.

I would think they essentially fulfill the original goal of the 514: providing empty streetcars for Liberty Village residents to board in the AM peak, instead of streetcars being rammed full of passengers that get on between Dundas West and Dufferin.

Where else would you turn streetcars along King if you want to give more service on the busiest section of the route? Of course there are fewer passengers on Dufferin (and Cherry) but .....
