Yes between the glass cube at the corner that I can't discern the purpose, the way the brick faces are split instead of wrapping around the entire corner like a normal building, and the chunky silver window frames, it looks 30 years old already.

Obviously not the fault of this project at all, but like, it really would be nice if we could do better than poured concrete for the sidewalks on one of the busiest streets for pedestrians in the country. Maybe someday.
The City makes that extremely difficult. They want to see precisely that: simple and uniform, since that makes it easier to maintain and limits liability on their end. They're very prescriptive about this.
